We are fundraising to refurbish our Sallam Centre Egypt to be an Emergency Reception Centre for forcibly displaced refugees, with a focus on refugees from Gaza and Sudan primarily, and other countries. By ensuring they have access reliable information and essential services through workshops, vocational training and providing much needed psychosocial support, we can work towards helping reduce the risk of exploitation.
Exciting news! After many ups and downs and learning to navigate the bureaucracy of a new country we are thrilled to share that we have secured a new building for the Sallam Centre in Cairo, Egypt. This new space marks a significant milestone in our mission to support forcibly displaced people with a focus on Sudanese and Palestinian Refugees in Egypt. WIth this new facility, we aim to expand our services and offer even more essential support to displaced families to reduce the risk of exploitation. Sallam Centre Services will include:
We operate as a one-stop shop for refugees and displaced persons, offering them a holistic support package to meet all their needs in order for them to become self-sufficient and secure their future.
Our Core Action Triangle collaborates with grassroots and global NGOs to provide legal, shelter, aid distribution and medical support.
