Afghanistan continues to face numerous challenges, including high levels of political instability, poverty, malnourishment and unemployment. As a result, thousands have fled into neighboring Pakistan, and are receiving very limited support. This is particularly affecting women and children. Goodwill Caravan’s efforts in this region focus on family reunification, legal support, food distributions, and critical literacy lessons for women. By empowering Afghan women to read and write, we give them a fighting chance at securing a better future for themselves.
Help us to reopen our Legal Aid clinics for Afghan women and children in Islamabad and Karachi. Through these clinics, we give them the capability to complete asylum and employment paperwork, helping them to access the job market, gain independence and reduce the risk of deportation. The goal is to find 15 supporters to donate £100 a month for our Afghan women and children school and legal clinic. Help us to give them a chance at a brighter future.
