Hanan Ashegh

Hanan Ashegh is a psychologist, a published researcher, a mother, and a humanitarian at heart. She has worked in the field of mental health and trauma for years, which has greatly informed her work with refugees and displaced populations.

After founding Goodwill Caravan in 2015, Hanan built an emergency response hub in Athens, Greece, mainland, and borders in 2016. She then officially registered Goodwill Caravan in both Greece and the UK in 2017, followed by registration as a 501(c)(3) and LLC in the U.S.A. The INGO now runs global anti-trafficking protection projects.

Currently, Hanan is building an online anti-trafficking information platform to prevent the exploitation of displaced populations.
